care of our client’s interim and annual financial reporting
needs. Our approach is to select the best approach that
meets each individual client’s needs. The range of services
are from the traditional ”write up” services on a monthly,
quarterly or annual basis, to consulting on selection,
implementation and support of integrated accounting
solutions.
The key to our success is the
experience of our firm members and partners practicing in
this area. Our partners and staff have an average of
11 years of experience in public accounting. We are able
to quickly assess your staff’s abilities and design and
implement accounting/bookkeeping solutions that will result
in faster monthly closings, with higher levels of
accuracy. This results in lower professional fees, once
implementation is achieved.

Tax Planning and Compliance Filing

Our firm is “proactive” in its approach
toward tax planning. We stay on top of your situation by
timely completing your compliance assignments, which
allows us the opportunity to make suggestions on tax savings
ideas, and strategies that our experience laden team can
bring.
We are also very experienced in
assisting our clients with estate planning and
administration. The opportunities for savings with proper
planning on larger asset accumulations are large. Our
experienced partners and staff work closely with our clients
to bring about effective tax saving solutions, which also
meet our client’s personal goals.

Municipal and Local Government Services

We are recognized throughout the state
as experts in the audits of cities, villages, townships and
authorities. Our combined practice base consists of over 30
governmental units, and our staff and partners have the
experience necessary to manage auditing and consulting
projects for local units of governments in Michigan. Some

We are frequently asked by the Michigan
Townships Association to present seminars and speak at
conferences, in addition to frequently contributing to the
Financial Forum column in the MTA’s monthly
magazine, Michigan Township News. We have been
appointed by the Michigan Department of Treasury to
serve on the Michigan Committee on Governmental Accounting
and Auditing.
